After much consideration and deliberation, SKI-GB are unfortunately going to have to postpone the upcoming Spring Course and Referee Training, that was scheduled for Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March.
This is due to Covid-19, we have regularly been following all the Government updates and seeing all the other International and National Sporting and Karate Events that are being postponed and this decision hasn't been made lightly. We as a Federation feel strongly that this is the right decision to make, we have a duty of care to our students and families, and feel that this is the necessary action to take.
We apologise to all our students and hope that you understand the predicament that we are in. We would like to stress that training locally in our clubs throughout the federation, is all still going ahead as normal on your normal training days. Just the larger National based events where people are having to travel and meet in larger numbers we are giving careful consideration to at the minute.
The East Midlands Regional Squad Session will still be going ahead on Saturday at Wildcats from 15:30-17:30.
We understand that students have requirements to meet for Dan Grading's etc and we will look to reschedule within the next couple of months, and I will update everyone asap.
Please can you circulate this information around your clubs and students. For now everyone please stay safe and healthy and follow the Governments advice on how to avoid or spreading Coronavirus, amongst your friends, family, and work colleagues etc.
